Course overview

This 5 day session is designed for organisation leaders and directors. The objective of the session is to provide the attendees with strategic leadership and change management strategies, techniques and processes to drive the organisation forward. Alongside the leaning objectives, the attendees will also be guided through self reflection upon their own leadership style, traits and areas of personal develop. Strategic leadership is a leadership style. It provides the vision and direction for the growth and success of an organisation. To successfully deal with change, all executives need the skills and tools for both strategy formulation and implementation. Managing change and ambiguity requires strategic leaders who not only provide a sense of direction, but who can also build ownership and alignment within their workgroups to implement change.

Module 1: Exploring Leadership Styles/Traits

The first session explores the key fundamentals of effective leadership. The attendees explore differing leadership styles and traits. They are given the opportunity to reflect and explore their own leadership attributes and traits and discover how they can develop their leadership qualities and capabilities.

Module 4: Change Management Strategies

This session breaks down the change management processes and explores effective strategies that can be applied during the process of change. The session also focuses how to mange people through change effectively.

Module 2: Strategic Planning/Management

In this session you learn a powerful framework for strategic planning and management. You will also gain insight into the attributes of effective planning. During the session we also explore the alignment of your organisational vision, mission, strategy and action.

Module 5: Leading a successful team

In this session we focus on applied emotional intelligence. We explore what it takes to create a thriving cultural of productivity, excellence and cohesiveness. Attendees will learn skills and strategies to be effective leaders and role models while maintaining a level of work/life balance.

Module3: Change Management Process

Going through change can be quite costly, but it is a necessary part of progressing forward. This session focuses on the key steps and processes that need to be considered during the change process.

Module 6: Coaching optional

After the session we offer follow up coaching sessions for participants to assist them in applying what they cover during the session.
